Custom designed shoes
Your cycling shoes can be a fantastic canvas to express your vision and create an incredible piece of art you can enjoy every day! Each design is created by working closely with you and turning your ideas into reality. The overall cost depends on the design you would like, and the time required to complete the design.
This pair was designed for New Zealand professional cyclist George Bennett. George proudly carries a part of New Zealand with him on the roads of Europe; and more recently on the Tour de France.
This pair of Shimano S-works were designed for a proud kiwi cyclist based in Australia. Kia Kaha is a term in maori used to encourage strength and confidence. Exactly what's needed when you're pushing yourself to the limits both in training and racing.
Another pair for New Zealand professional cyclist George Bennett. These were created from the first original pair of shoes I ever painted (seen in the top left photograph). George wanted a more colourful pair to take on the roads of Girona with him - so I designed him these 'Autumn' inspired shoes.
These shoes were created for a client who was looking for something unique to give to his partner. I absolutely love how these turned out and I am sure I will be doing a lot more flowery shoes in the future!
George Bennett was heading into the 2018 Vuelta Espana and was looking for a new pair of shoes. These were created with the New Zealand Koru theme, much like his first pair painted for the Tour de France. The devil is in the detail with this pair, with more than 40 hours of painting going into the details.
When the team at Rapha approached me to design and hand paint a pair of shoes specifically for the Rapha Womens 100 ride I really wanted to create something special. These shoes are based on the kit designed for the 2018 Womens 100.
These are two different pairs of shoes designed for New Zealand professional Mountain Bikers Wyn Masters (top pair) and Brooke MacDonald (bottom pair). These shoes were painted for the 2018 Downhill Mountain Biking World Championships.
Some colourful shoes hand-painted for Esteban Chaves based on his Foundation. The foundations purpose is to give the young cyclists of Bogota and Cundinamarca the best opportunity to reach their goals of being professional cyclists. These shoes are based off of the colours used for the foundation.
